564. Arrangements for the adoption of a minor child must be made by a body certified by the Minister of Health and Social Services pursuant to the Youth Protection Act (chapter P-34.1), unless that minister prescribes otherwise by regulation.

564. The adoption arrangements are made by a body certified by the Minister of Health and Social Services pursuant to the Youth Protection Act (chapter P-34.1), unless an order of the Minister published in the Gazette officielle du Québec provides otherwise.

564. The steps with a view to adoption are taken by the adopter, in accordance with the conditions provided in the Youth Protection Act, or, at the request of the adopter, by the Minister of Health and Social Services or an organization certified under the said Act.
